Mr. Loyd E. Roitstein, Scout Executive
Mid-America Council
12401 West Maple Rd.
Omaha, NE 68164

Dear Loyd:

The Buckeye Council, its volunteer leadership, staff and Scouts sends condolences to the families and Scouts who lost their lives in the tornado. We pray for those Scouts who were injured, as well as their families, that they may fully recover and return to their normal activities.

The heroic bravery and courage exhibited by Scouts and Leaders during that terrible ordeal is truly remarkable and a testament to the staff and volunteers of the Mid- America Council for the training in emergency preparedness so evident in the Scout Motto.

Our Council is honoring your Council and those Scouts that lost their lives by flying our flags at half-mast for the next 5 days.

We stand ready to support you in any way possible so please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Scout Executive
